The Recorder of Deeds Office records all documents pertaining to real estate transactions such as:  Warranty Deeds, Quick Claim Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Affidavits, UCC filings on real estate and Beneficiary Deeds.  All of these documents have to be notarized.  These records are open to the public and this office has records dating from 1850 to present.  When recording a document it can be delivered in person or mailed to the Recorder of Deeds office.
